Subject: stumble at 1/4 tank or so
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Hey

I don't know if I'm imagining this or not, but my '87 Syncro seems to run better with a full tank than with 1/4th or less of a tank. At low engine speeds it seems to stumble and hesitate before it hits it's stride and begins to pull strongly. I tend to be light-footed, and notice that if I just stomp on it, it takes off just fine. What I have is very subtle stumbling or hesitation as I slowly accelerate.

I can go quite a distance below a 1/4 tank, so know my gas guage is reasonably accurate, or at least I know that the stumbling is not because I'm running out of gas.

Any thoughts?

Raymond
