There is a tool that is designed for the job. Picture the business end of the tool your photo's show with a screw driver handle. Check your FLAPS or find a Mac, Snap-On, etc, tool vendor and you should be able to come up with one. I have one but do not know where it was purchased from as I found mine in a parking lot. I did not know what it was for until I watched a glass installer at the dealership one day.
