I stopped by an auto parts store to get 4 more feet of hose to carry with me since I've used up all my backup. The guy asks me if it was fuel injection hose and I said yes. He told me that I needed special fuel injection hose which was like $6 a foot as compared to the braided stuff I was using from my other store at a dollar something a foot. Is this what the problem is? Do I need this thicker hose all around or is this snake oil? BTW, I explained to him that VW has always liked the braided hose because it better soaks up and holds the gas to create a much better fire. :) :) Bryan |
