Just finished this on my '88, with all but the rear cabinets out, and it went back together well
(ie, you can do just the front cabinets, by coaxing the water tank cabinet straight up & out.) I
did the same last year on '82, so I had a bit of practice. Double check all wires & hoses
before bolting anything in! If you're like me, you will end up with extra fasteners that don't fit
anywhere, and be missing a few other fasteners, especially those little plastic caps... :-(
Also, a good idea to replace any rusted sheet metal screws with stainless while you're at it,
especially those on the sliding door opening. And careful with the hoses going back on the
water hookup - the plastic is very brittle after 20 years, and a fair bit of force is required.
Perhaps a food safe lubricant of some kind might be helpful here.
