There is really nothing special about the auto-fill valve. It is standard fare in the RV world. Maybe yours is defective. It can be a little bit troublesome due to the small capacity of our propane tanks. Turn on the filler and the level comes up and shuts the valve. Then go get it to fill again. Part of the trick is to fill the tank slowly. Dennis
