Neal, You don't need to cut that ring that's around the short hose on fuel injectors. In fact, you can reuse them (I do). I use a #11 X-Acto blade (the pointy one) to slit the hose ... reaching up under the ring. The hose will then come off and the ring just falls free. Mike
