I would be very interested in finding a vendor that sells a hemp canvas pop top. That's a great idea! The hemp jeans, belts and shirts that I have owned are far superior to any other fabric that I have ever seen with respect to durability. Maybe some industrious list member might consider not only pop tops made of hemp but also side tents made of hemp canvas as well. They would probably sell like hemp cakes, uh, I mean hot cakes and be worth any additional cost with respect to durability. When you consider that many westfalia owners whether driving air-cooled or water-cooled vehicles would like to use such materials it then becomes a matter of marketing and production. Anyone know of any vendors out there using hemp for poptops or side tents or is this a niche that exists for another entrepreneur?
