The brown window cranks have been discontinued from VW.  However we have
still been able to get them one or two at a time from one of our suppliers.
They are $26 each!  Or we have the black cheapies for $5 each.  The OE ones
are nicer (better made) but not sure if they are 5 times better made :-)  If
you have the have a brown one give me a call.

Boohoo, I was rolling down the window and the knob on the crank came off in
my hand!!

It is brown with chrome inserts. Can I put it back on? I haven't checked yet
in the book, just lazy and ask the list first!!  It looks like it is a brad
type connection to the handle. Do I just need to replace the entire handle?
Would like top keep the brown if possible as my Betty has all original and
looks great - just a cosmetic thing for me.
