So my van is once again roadworthy thanks to everyone on this wonderful list. I just got done rebuilding the engine (which was one heck of an undertaking for an 18 year old), and she's running like a champ....well almost... Anyways, to the point: The biggest issue I've been having so far is an odd stumbling issue that i believe is somewhere between the gas pedal and the intake system...as I'm starting through the gears, I put my foot into the gas and it hesitates for a second or 2 before the RPMs catch up and the engine starts putting out the power, like it's getting starved or something...never to the point of killing it like this 'vanagon syndrome' I hear about, it's just very unresponsive for a few seconds and then catches up. Another issue I noticed with the gas pedal is when I slowly rev it with the van in neutral. If I try to keep it at 2k, it gets to 1800 or so and a poltergeist starts ramping it up like crazy almost to 3k...pedal doesn't physically move, it just hits a trigger and starts running away. Any clues as to where I want to start looking?

Thanks in advance, Elliot 88 GL
