I have some of the hard plastic line (8mm OD, Nylon-11, rated over 200 psi) left over from when I replaced everything, enough to do 5 more Vanagons. On my '81 aircooled, it took about 14 feet total. This is the stuff that runs between the fuel tank and the firewall.

It's pretty easy to work with, but it's stiff, and holds its shape. You need to gently heat it and bend it to the correct shape. I held it in front of a Reddy heater until it got soft enough to shape.

If anyone is interested, I'll sell the rest in 15' chunks, for $10 shipped CONUS, first come, first served. It's natural color (milky white), not black like the OEM, so if you're a stickler for detail, you won't like it.

I can tell you that 1 on 5 fuel rail is bad. Look at it >carefully >from the top, if you see any a "banana" shape on those, garbage!
