Thanks for that, Alfred. I received last week a brand-new manual valve
and bleeder from Terry K (CTONLINE@webtv.net. I plan to remove the
original auto-stop valve and install the manual valve, but Mellow Yellow
presently has a nearly full tank. I've been considering the most
responsible way to empty the tank. I could just keep camping until the
tank runs dry, but Mrs Squirrel might not appreciate a trip w/o heat or
cut short due to lack of same. So your suggestion, burning the propane
with the stove seems to be the better way, when compared with just
releasing the propane into the atmosphere.
