Sounds like you need the hot springs just north west of Tucson - which of
course I can't remember what they are called. On BLM land, costs around
$3/night to stay there, no hookups. Just DON'T go on the weekend or a
school holiday - the land is used by crazies on ATVs and it's not quiet at
all. During the week, though, it's really nice. Hang out in the hot pools,
hang out in your van, wander around the sand dunes, talk to the others
quietly hanging out there. Highly recommended!
