These are the "use once, cut off" type blue ones that you squeeze together to tighten? In a pinch (ha ha) you can use a pair of end cutter pliers. For preference, I'd pick up a set of (ear type) CV Boot Clamp Pliers. < http://tinyurl.com/yrrfew> They look similar to end-cutters, but they have a thingy in the middle that keeps the "loop" part of the clamp from bowing upwards.
