as long as you have access to a 'yard' you can get whatever configuration you want really. I just finished swapping my 81 aircooled westfalia into a weekender of sorts... poptop still in place, 2 person middle bench seat and small camping rear (folding) seat in place. There is a little spot on the side of the far back bench seat for a cooler and some stuff. this way we can take ourselves, and the soon to be 'little un' with both dogs on camping trip when we want. the grown ups and baby can sleep upstairs and the dogs sleep downstairs. I also like this setup so one adult can drive around with a baby carseat in place and not be 8 feet away, not to mention keep the baby away from the dogs. |
