You should be able to test switch with a VOM meter. Set meter to measure resistance to check continuity. If ness, "zero" meter first. Remove switch. Switch "off", meter shows no continuity. Switch "on" meter will show continuity if working. I *think* there will be a circuit diagram in Bentley showing pin out of switch. You may have to put spade connectors in switch so meter probes can connect.
