When I was a teenager in Alaska my father owned a 64 Bug that had no front fenders.

So he cut a hole in the hood and put a single headlight bucket. It worked but sure was funny looking.

We used to see how fast it would go on the runway on Saturday nights. The tower would flash the lights for us when a plane was approaching. Sure wish we had taken pictures of it.
