Hmm. Airbags require sensors. I wouldn't mind bumpers that were mounted on shock absorbers. The small 14" wheels are desirable for better fuel economy (note that almost every high fuel economy vehicle has small wheels....there is a reason.) But 15" or 16" wheels for the 4wd version...it would be nice if there was just a little more room to accomodate those big tires. I.E. fender flares in the metal a la Porsche....

Brakes are adequate for the smaller wheels. Larger brakes if you have the 15" or 16" would be nice. Wiring is adequate...for cars with expected life times of 10-12 years.

I'd vote for stainless steel coolant pipes (and power steering lines), and exhaust manifolds, catalytic convertors and mufflers (as Subaru does). Expensive, but you usually don't have to replace them but once every 20 years or so....
