I was disappointed with the amount of pressure it took to get my brake lights come on. I did not have to depress the pedal all the way, But the pedal pressure needed to START braking was not enough to turn on the brake lights. A little added pressure is needed to get the lights on. It's slight bit of pressure, but the point is I'm braking and the lights aren't on yet.

SO, I replaced the switches. And the lights come on exactly like they did before the replacement. Now they're not so bad that the pedal must be fully depressed. But I'd like them to come on when I just about touch the pedal as opposed AFTER the braking process has started. Just makes more sense of course. heck, It'd be safer if they came on when I thought about the brakes. Maybe a chip in my head is the best solution. (I should say ANOTHER chip in addition to the one the government has put in there;)

In summation, in my opinion the pressure needed to illuminate the brake lights should be lower. Does anyone else suffer from this gremlin, or is it just my bus?

I noticed that the brake lights are not coming on until the pedal is fully depressed, which is not a very good thing, and invites a rear end collision.
