Yea, exaclty! your westerner.... some have no choice, funny how some southern folks sometime think they have rust on their vans... some rust, yea!

I'll show you rust, you should see the van i'm doing right now, i'll post pictures later.

As for the original post, if it's a westy, save it, if not... sell it to me, i'll cut it to have some spare metal/skin parts... he he he.

The problem when working around the windows is to respect the shape around this one, to much putty and the window won't fit or even crack if to tight.

Of what i can see, it's not to bad, all rust need to be remove, grinded until you see goo metal, after, you may need some small sheet metal work, you can glue them, and a bit of micro-fiberglass.
