The white wire controls the fridge 12 volt relay. If you hook the white
wire to the aux battery positive the relay will always be powered on.
This will gradually drain the aux battery down even if the fridge 12
volt switch setting is turned off. If the fridge 12 volt setting is on,
the aux battery will be dead in a single night.

The white wire is intended to be hooked to the blue wire coming from the
alternator charging indicator. This will turn on the fridge 12 volt
relay only when the engine is running and the alternator is supplying power.
