My Vanagons are the only vehicles I own. My 85' was my daily driver for 5 years up until last summer when the dreaded coolant pipes rusted through. Now if I can get the 90' running well and patch the 85' back up they can share the duty.

As for that whole topic - each to their own I guess but I'm with you. I'll be the last owner of all of these vans and I'll change and modify to fit my needs. Others disagree and that is fine but I'm never selling so I don't worry about value. -- Thanks,
