Boy... when somebody says something like that it's a sure sign that the
conversation is about to go downhill. : )
I tell my little kids all the time that they should never stick a hand (or
anything else) in a hole into which they cannot see (advice that can keep
you alive in the desert). Perhaps I need to add 'never put anything in your
mouth unless you know its origin'.

I wonder if John B. had ever spent much time around infants at the time of
his incident- you pretty quickly learn to not assume that whatever that is
on you might be chocolate or mustard or what-have-you... !

I inadvertantly tasted antifreeze the other day... mucho nasty stuff. Makes
me wonder about those stories you hear about animals drinking it because
it's sweet. Before anybody flips out, I know that it happens, I just don't
see how they can get past the taste- sure didn't taste sweet to me. Maybe
they put something in it now to make it undrinkable, or maybe it tastes that
way after it's been in the radiator a while. (I was trying to blow some crap
out of a funnel that had been in the radiator neck- I wiped it off with a
clean towel but I guess it left some residue).
