I fixed my sudden death problem.
Actually, I caused it by replacing the defective rubber boot between
the air flow sensor/air box and the throttle.
When I put in a part that wasn't leaking air into the engine, I made
the idle circuit rich and that caused the bad idle and at worst, a
complete stall out.
I adjusted the air bleed screw and it idles well now, and no stalls
and no sudden death!
Sometimes if you fix something, you have to think of the
consequences....you just may have to adjust something else.
