The same '87 VW camper booklet that states 13.2 gallons: 13.2--10.5 green 10.5--4.0 yellow 4.0--0.8 red (It leaves unstated that below 0.8 = no LED)

I fill my tank full with good Boulder water (at 5,400') and head west. Eisenhower Tunnel is over 11,000' and Vail Pass over 10,000'. Then it is downhill to Utah.

Camping alone, that 13.2 gallons lasts easily over a week. I conserve by drinking other than water. ;-)

When I head out I fill my gas tank, too. Don't you? That is more weight....
