$7000 for everything!!!. I am not trying to deceive anyone and will state
upfront that it has a salvage title
If this was not a VW with expensive replacement parts, it would not have
been salvaged by the original owner's insurance company. Pics of salvage
damage can be seen on my web site. Any VW enthusiast can see there was no
life-threatening damage to the vehicle. There was no drivetrain damage. Only
the coolant overflow tank, bumper, tailgate and rear pillar assembly were
changed in the mid-1990s. The van holds perfect alignment w/ past paperwork
to show it. Current tires have been on the van since maybe `98 with no
cupping or irregular wear patterns. Yes, it needs tires & new side mirrors
(they slide down).
So much has been done to the van it's hard to know where to start. Van is
currently driven a few times a week after coming out of winter storage. It
did sit in in-door storage for a year while I was out of the country. I have
compiled a big list of all upgrades & many parts that have been replaced.
P-mail me if interested and I'll forward information.
