Where is the sense of Advenure in that. Get the maps from AAA or CAA
and a few brochures and wing-it. Your world is not governed by other
peoples stone by stone description. It removes all the mystery. Yes..
Read up on the history of the building of the Alaska Highway and then
stop at the many markers along the way and use YOUR thoughts and
imagination.
It's like the old radio plays, their stage settings were
limited only by your imagination. Camping for the night is anywhere
you get the notion and insect repellant.
You don't need to relive someone else's journey and the trip
will be nonetheless enjoyable.

In my perhaps not so humble opinion.... having been there last summer
for the second time.
