I'm buying a used Dometic fridge from a list member for my '89 Westy. I know that leaving a Dometic upside down for a while can actually be beneficial. But I recall someone posting here recently that the fridge can be damaged if operated on a steep incline, which is something I hadn't heard before. (When I'm camping on an incline I level my van, so it's never come up.) Does the same apply concern to shipping, or only when it's in use? That is, can the fridge be damaged simply by being stored on its side while in UPS or Fedex's hands? - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW _____________________________________________ Toll-Free for Orders by PART # : 1-866-BUS-DEPOT |
