That ribbed hose feeds into the water tank on the side, the forward side that also has the tank's electrical connections. You can see this by going into the cabinet forward of the water tank cabinet and pull out the divider. You might be able to snake the smaller hose through this ribbed one, but it likely won't be easy with all the twists and turns--in only about 18" of length. And I'm still trying to reinstall the ribbed hose onto that tank inlet. Made the mistake of removing it during the interior removal and it does not want to go back on.
