And yet, all weekend long, and today, messages have been coming in to my gmail account in bursts, with great big dead times with no messages.

Vanagon/Gmail Message Surge Syndrome?

I just now received 15 messages, some stamped around 1pm and it's presently 5pm Pacific Time.

Mike Collum -- what time, your time, did you post your reply to "Re: THANKS - Report (brakes)" ("...as long as there's nothing but fluid in the lines.")?

It's timestamped 1:32 PM and was received here a minute ago.
