OK, I've been off the list for a few years but it's good to see you all! I hate to say it but lifestyle changes (marriage & a new artic fox travel trailer) for the sale of my beloved eeyore.

For Sale: `87 VW Vanagon Westfalia "Eeyore" located in Colorado Springs, CO

Drive anywhere today. Stored indoors during Colorado winters, Originally a Southern Cal vehicle. I have owned 10yrs. 3rd owner

Great shape for 170K miles on it. Power Brakes, Power Steering AC all there but no longer working, R134 conversion, leaked. Sought-after `87up light gray interior scheme 2.1l FI digifant motor w/ 4 speed 15" Audi steel wheels Roof repainted w/ marine grade primer & paint (new stickers)

See van modifications here: http://www.members.shaw.ca/bilbo/Mikevan.html Lots of pics here: http://www.sage-tech.net/svomikey/albums.php

$7000 for everything!!!. I am not trying to deceive anyone and will state upfront that it has a salvage title If this was not a VW with expensive replacement parts, it would not have been salvaged by the original owner's insurance company. Pics of salvage damage can be seen on my web site. Any VW enthusiast can see there was no life-threatening damage to the vehicle. There was no drivetrain damage. Only the coolant overflow tank, bumper, tailgate and rear pillar assembly were changed in the mid-1990s. The van holds perfect alignment w/ past paperwork to show it. Current tires have been on the van since maybe `98 with no cupping or irregular wear patterns. Yes, it needs tires & new side mirrors (they slide down).

So much has been done to the van it's hard to know where to start. Van is currently driven a few times a week after coming out of winter storage. It did sit in in-door storage for a year while I was out of the country. I have compiled a big list of all upgrades & many parts that have been replaced. P-mail me if interested and I'll forward information.
