Ron had mentioned he did not want to bring the cheesy Casio to a jam. My suggestion is "you don't have to". There are allot of small battery powered keyboards out there that sound pretty nice these days. Large speakers and really deep tones. I've jammed with keyboard players around campgrounds with these and they sound awesome. It's really nice to have some keys to really add allot more song choices to the jam session.
