Tom,

Sometimes the wire that feeds the sensor goes bad. Change the wire before you change the sensor again. All the way from the source. These wires are getting old, cracks in the insulation lead to corrosion, and can result in lost connectivity or intermittent problems.

Good luck!

Jack

I have gone through 3 [! ] temp II sensors in the 2 years on my 90 Van.

In the case of the second and third sensor - I spent weeks driving a stalling,

hard-to-warm up and intermittent hiccupping van replacing the coil, cleaning connectors and replacing

ground cables convinced it could NOT be the Temp II sensor again! But Digitool said otherwise and

after replacement - i had a happy van again.

I carry spares in the car now.

I have no explanation for the short lived sensors. Maybe some other part of my Digfant system is

getting old and causing the sensors to fail??
