i say modify to your heart's content its not like these cars arent already responsible for there own small share of modifying the climate - which certainly effects the re-sale value of the good old world - hopefully you will be the last owner of "matilda" - hopefully she will retire form the road and become (yours or borrowed) grandchildren's playhouse - nasty fluids drained and tires turned into planters.
