Ok, so my options appear to be fix the ball stud with a part off a different
VW model or replace the lever with one from another Vanagon. So I am
wondering if there is anyone out there with a parts bus that is an automatic
that would be willing to sell me a good lever. Just to recap the part I
speak of is the lever that attaches to the trans. This is the part that the
accelerator cable coming from the front attaches to (ball socket). Sorry I
don't have the actual part name.


I hope that makes sense. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
