just in the process of trying to get the recaros in, from a mkII jetta.
the info i have from the list and chris how to do it says to weld in vanagon
tracks... seems to me that would be hard to do (yes i removed the power base
from the recaro) since the tracks have to be mounted a little narrower than
the original recaro tracks.
It looks to me like i cound just screw a metal plate to the recaros using
the existing threads in them, and then screw the vanagon tracks to this
plate, did anyone do this and can comment on this?
