the only "intermittant" wipers vanagons came with was to put the stalk in the topmost setting. if you push on the stalk, it activates the rear wiper. if you pull on the stalk, it activates the front washers and wiper.

as for installing a jumpseat in a westy, i was going to write a whole long install story here but then i remembered about 20 other people already wrote long install stories on how to do this very exact thing, and they are all in the archives.. so ....search the archives..
