Hi Joy, I've got to say that personally, I much prefer the weather change as I head SOUTH. FWIW, The changing weather patterns are much easier to document on the route I used in 2001/2002, heading East out of Buffalo on Rt 20/ I295 and taking Rt 15/29 through PA, MD, and VA. It takes a few hours longer, but the changes come on much more gradually as you work your way south. Taking the I-79/Rt19/I-77 path, the weather change is compressed to the region between Beckley, WV and Greensboro NC. North of Beckley the trees hadn't even started budding yet. Summer weather came to Toronto this past weekend... I was busy in the driveway and garage enjoying (F) temps in the mid 70's. It won't last long though, it'll be down in the 50's tomorrow.
