My speedo has been acting up lately. I had inst. housing off several times recently. It pinned at one point and stayed there plus got stuck at other high numbers. I dropped a little oil into end that connects to speedo and this helped. It doesn't read super high, but consistently displays about 20 KM above real speed. Can speedo cable be seated incorrectly even if nut threaded all the way on? This is for an 81 AC Lovin' the road!
