Subject: ScotchGuard on the poptop canvas question
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

At Everybus, I talked to someone (sorry, I can't remember who you are) who recommended spraying the poptop canvas with 3M ScotchGuard to help ward off the moisture. So I've got a couple of cans of the spray from WalMart and am ready to try on a calm dry day.

Question: Will it discolor the canvas in any way? Should I mask any other painted surfaces that the spray might get on? My canvas got wet at EB and it would have been nice if the moisture would have just run off.

What say you?
