Has anyone been to either Coyote Buttes or the slot canyons?

Depends on where you are coming from. From the South rim, you cross the Colorado at Lee's ferry & drive to Jacob's Lake then south to the North Rim, all while in AZ. If you come from NV, you can drive from S. Utah back into AZ along the AZ Strip(polygamous country) & are mostly in AZ to get there from the west.

The Grand Canyon only has 2 bridges that cross it, 1 at each end about 275 miles apart, so it's a long way around from either end. Meanwhile, there is a lot of gorgeous/desolate territory in between!

Tom B.- lots of vanagon territory down there
