FWIW John of Northwest Campers up in Bellingham outfits his fleet with Nankangs. I had the pleasure of driving their '84 AdventureWagen for a couple of weeks around WA and OR and found them to be very crosswind stable and roadworthy.

One final point: tire pressure is key. Pump em up to specs. -- John Meeks
