I have been on the list on and off for a couple of years and this is the first I have heard of this particular problem. I drive a 1982 air cooled Westy (Federal version). Is there an analogous problem I should be looking for in my distributor? All I have ever done on my distributor is change the points, condensor, cap, and rotor...and of course set the timing.
