Yeah I have to respectfully disagree too. At least not if I have anything to say or do about it. Our conversion is our first, but isn't planned to be our last, and the whole point is to keep something that isn't available in any other form on the road and economically feasible. And if my pipe dream of making a bostig a non-profit auto company can work, it could mean truly alternative energy conversions or at the least continued improvement in efficiencies via more resources and more people willing to help a non-profit they believe in succeed, but also.. what happens if you can write off all or part of your engine conversion as a donation to a non-profit. You feel me? Benny got it right. New era. F the profiteer wastrels that squander good technology on making a buck while limiting options with their financial muscle.

I have to respectfully disagree! Our vanagon campers will still appreciate in value, not as daily drivers, but as collector's vehicles. This is because the hobby is not necessarily a rational one, but a cult oriented one that will not be affected much by gas prices, only one's ability to buy, maintain, & love, & this will rise w/ inflation? Look what folks are paying for houses now compared to 5,10, or 20 years ago.
