>> Lately I've been noticing the gas station attendents taking a great interest in her. ... One said, "it's just like a little house", and I guess that's a pretty good description. <<

The best description I've heard so far is "Tree Fort on Wheels".

My favorite when I'm pumping gas or something and people meander over they always ask "What year is this?" and I say "It's an 83" and that is always followed with "Geez, these things just run forever don't they?". I always just answer "yes". ;)

My best gas station story was right after I bought the van. I was parked in the gas station and the sliding door was open. A large Mercedes pulled up and Saudi family got out. A old man with the traditional dress walks over the to van and look in. He says "I like this, how much did you pay?" I said "$4000" he says "I'll take." "I said it's not for sale." And he gave me a very angry look and said "I want to buy it!" just then his son walks over and says "Father, please stop buying vehicles from people, you have too many" and puts him back into the car. I'm guessing if the son had not intervened the sword was about to come out. :)
