like i said in my previous post, if the window latches, id leave it be.. reason i say this is - removing the drift pin is a tricky job.. the pins are soooo thin , that any repeated force even light tapping with a hammer and a punch , can mangle the pin..(BTDT) and in the worse case scenario, you can bend the potmetal latch..

this is one of those things where its better to just let it be, IMO..
