The Man Club? Totally stupid and inane. Mrs Squirrel felt that me watching it was proof positive that I was an idiot. She's not wrong. But in my defense, I stopped when Jimmy Kimmel departed.

Yeah, that's the tradeoff I see, too. If I didn't have to go through L.A. to get to the 14, I'd try it. Mapquest says that it's 1/2 hour longer for me if I go up I-5 thru L.A. to the 14 to the 395, than if I go up I-15 to the 395. Mapquest apparently doesn't know how slow I-5 is during, well, most of the time, so their estimate is doubtless wildly inaccurate. Maybe at 4am it's okay.
