Good luck registering it. Some states are pretty easy, but others (like California) will send you packing. Once they see the ZZZ in the VIN, you're dead in the water. They'll request Customs docs, DOT docs, EPA testing, etc., etc....

It's definitely getting harder to illegally "backdoor" cars through Canada.
