Hi Ben As a small business owner I know how emotional these things can be. Attacking the customers vehicle will not help the situation.

The bottom line is the paint does not match and what can be done?

I know a lot of paints have a number and than plus and minus shade variations. This looks to me like a complete different code # though.

Maybe you can talk to the paint supply store, and if need be , to the manufacturer of the paint. If it is indeed the proper code and something went wrong with the mixing or the base paints than at the very least maybe they will supply the new paint or help in some other way.

Considering the original condition of the vehicle; for me painting the jams would be a good compromise.
