Guys, as my English is not perfect, when you say "Jambs", or other words you take to (i think) describe the "in between" inside and out side, like that pictures: http://www.cabelas.com between capet and outside, same for the door???

If it's what you mean, of course i had planed to do those!!! i would never give the van like that, it's not a question of money but a pride one, this section is already taped and ready to spray.

I think i was not clear enough on my first post , sorry, i had too many beers when i wrote that yesterday :-)

The main and only problem is the guys was hopping for at least a darker shade instead of a "more pale/lighter" one.

Of course, my mistake was to asume that the color should have been more... close to the original, and i should have told him so. But even then, i'm not sure what the original look like????! All i have is a 15 year old Autocolor sample, 2 by 2, and that sample is closer to my color than his interior.

When you work 2 weeks on a project like that, you don't care at all if it take a few more hours to blend the inside with the outside, i have NO problem with that.

One last thing, and that is very important, i used a "Cleam/tan" primer! not a darker grey one, why, because the expensive "Cream" one as anticorosion agents in it, it's also a good "builder" type primer, a very good product, but they only make this one in a cream/tan color. So it explain a bit the lighter blue. This vas was so mess up that i had no choice to use that primer, giving a bit more chance to stop some rust pigmentation.

Anyway, i have learn, again, something this week.
