I'm considering having some rust repair done on a Vanagon .. anyone know = of any links for the resto of a Vanagon?

JDD, I do an awful lot of this work here in my garage and by far the best method to deal with rust is using _POR-15_ (http://www.por15.com/) products. Check their website and read, read, read. All rust areas must be treated from all sides to insure it will not come back. There are a few places like the front bumper crush area that cannot be accessed from both sides so there is no way to fix the rust in this area permanently without replacing all the metal parts there. Seam rust is repaired by first thoroughly cleaning out the seams of ALL caulking and loose rust. Interior panels where water is collection must be repaired in a manner that will allow the water to drain out. I'm sending you by separate e-mail an invitation to view photos of some vans I have done rust repair work on recently.

Cheers,
